Whitewater Valley is a location which first appeared in the Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate opening and later as a playable stage in Dead or Alive 4 as Waterfall Valley. It bears many similar factors to the Suspension Bridge.
Story[]
In Dead or Alive 4, the valley was the place where Kasumi met up with Hayate and tried to convince him not to attack DOATEC, despite all the trouble they have caused the clan. However, Ayane appeared and held off Kasumi to allow Hayate to leave to start the mission. When he leaves, the girls fight it out.
In the Prologue of Dead or Alive Dimensions, Kasumi was being trained here by her father Shiden in order for her to take the leadership of their clan, but worrying about Hayate's condition effected her training. Ayane wasn't happy with the idea but Kasumi was eager to know the truth behind Hayate's condition so Ayane told her the whole story. Learning the truth, Kasumi set out to avenge Hayate but after becoming a runaway shinobi, Ayane was ordered to kill her. Ayane managed to stop her from crossing the bridge but Kasumi was saved when Christie and Bayman in a helicopter took her away.
Description[]
The valley is located close to the village of the Mugen Tenshin clan, in a forest dominated by trees. A fast-running, clear water waterfall flows between two high cliffs. Fights start on top of a suspended bridge made of wooden planks and ropes hanging between the cliffs but, after years of weathering, two quite large holes have appeared on both ends of the bridge. Fighters can be pushed down these holes or over the sides. Below, fighters can continue fighting in the river or along the river banks, where many brown rabbits can be seen bouncing around, avoiding the fighting.
