Dead or Alive Wiki

Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme (stylized as Venus Vacation PRISM - DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme -) is the second Venus Vacation game and seventh overall game in the Xtreme series. It was released on March 27, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam and DMM.

Venus Vacation Prism - TGS 2024 announcement livestream

Venus Vacation Prism was unveiled as part of Koei Tecmo's Tokyo Game Show 2024 presentation. It was announced to be released in early 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam and DMM). Like all Xtreme games since Xtreme 3, Venus Vacation Prism will be sold exclusively in Japan and select Asian countries.[1] Unlike Xtreme 3 and the original Venus Vacation, which use Soft Engine, Venus Vacation Prism is powered by Katana Engine.[2]

It was originally planned to be released on March 6, 2025, but is delayed to March 27, 2025, instead.[3] The given reason for the delay was to make adjustments to further ensure the girl interactions were of high quality, and also implied they were going to add additional episodes.[4]

During late development, twitter posts were being posted showing certain aspects of development, including unveiling a new long rope jumping game as well as showing off the ability to interact with multiple venuses (via Fiona and Misaki) at once as well as more of the immersive aspect of the game. A promotional clip involving Fiona and Honoka shows them introducing each other as well as Honoka asking about whether Fiona was indeed a princess via small talk from Tamaki earlier. This implies that Venus Vacation Prism is set in a parallel continuity to Xtreme Venus Vacation.

Characters[]

The roster will consist of six girls:

  • Misaki: A part-time staff always supporting the Boss. An “ordinary” girl you might find anywhere. She actively engages in conversations with other girls, creating a friendly atmosphere. However, beneath her outgoing demeanor lies a shy personality; she struggles with self-confidence and often finds it challenging to take that first step forward.
  • Fiona: A beautiful girl who visits the island to meet the Boss. A love-struck princess. Deeply devoted to the Boss, she passionately strives for love and gives her all in everything she does. However, her close proximity can sometimes lead to heart-pounding moments...!
  • Elise: A beautiful supervisor with a strong sense of responsibility and a calm demeanor. Due to unsatisfactory festival results, she is dispatched from the office for oversight. While her approach is businesslike, she understands the importance of give-and-take in her interactions.
  • Tamaki: A sexy girl visiting the island for a specific purpose, a designer who was formerly a model. Passionate about beauty, she dedicates herself fully to both her own appearance and that of others. With a blend of sophistication and a sexy aura, she embodies the essence of an elegant grown-up woman.
  • Honoka: Raised by her kind grandmother, she is a laid-back schoolgirl with a secret. Her warm personality brings comfort and joy to those around her. While visiting the Island for sightseeing, Honoka is scouted by the Boss while she is at the pier…
  • Nanami: A beautiful girl with an aura that effortlessly draws attention, embodying a relatable and genuine charm. Visiting the Venus Islands to meet Misaki, who was her classmate in middle school, she unexpectedly encounters the Boss while waiting for Misaki at the beach…

Trivia[]

  • When announcing the livestream for Tokyo Game Show 2024, the game was first teased as "Venus Vacation New Project".[5]
  • The cast of characters was leaked ahead of their reveal from a post in a Chinese website.
  • Xtreme Venus Vacation in both DMM/Japanese Steam and Singapore Steam/Johren versions, as part of promotion for Venus Vacation Prism, had a collaboration event during the second half of Tamaki and Nagisa's TC events, respectively that had the following:
    • A promotional video on the TV and bootup on March 27 at 3:00 UTC from that date to April 1.
    • Posters and SSR decobromides modeled after the game, the latter issued after completing certain panel missions.
    • A pink SR bikini that featured the logo of the game on the right breast.
    • Several SSRs being reissued to various girls.
  • This is the first Dead or Alive game since Girls of DOA BlackJack to not feature Zack in any capacity (as Dead or Alive Xtreme 3/Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet had Zack appear in the beginning of the game notifying the player that they're to run Zack Island in his stead and had statues in his likeness in some of the gravures, and while Zack himself doesn't make an appearance in Xtreme Venus Vacation, he is given indirect allusions by some of the characters in relation to the island and/or individual backstories, and also cameoed to some extent via the aforementioned statues in gravures).
