This article is for the musical theme "Ultimate weapon" and its subsequent update and remix.
Throughout the Dead or Alive series, "Ultimate weapon" has been used as a theme for Leon.
Arcade version[]
The original "Ultimate weapon" theme first appeared in the original arcade version of Dead or Alive 2 as the theme for Leon and his ending.
Console version[]
"Ultimate weapon" was later updated for the home console releases of Dead or Alive 2. Appearing in also the DOA2: Hardcore games, Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate, and Dead or Alive Online, the theme was once again used as the theme for Leon and his ending.
It is this version of the theme that has been used again throughout the series rather than the original arcade version.
The theme is also optional in Music Mode for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate and Last Round, spelled "Ultimate Weapon", though it can be selectable for any character and gameplay mode.
Leon (or Ultimate Weapon) Remix[]
The theme was later remixed as "Leon Remix" and first appeared in Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate. It is heard while the player is fighting against Leon in the Ray House.
It later appeared in Dead or Alive 4, renamed "Ultimate Weapon Remix", and is heard when the player fighting against Leon or Bayman in the Crash Club.
