Toreko is the training dummy for the 1997 Sega Saturn version of Dead or Alive and its 2004 Xbox port, Dead or Alive 1 Ultimate.

Though she is never named in-game, Toreko's name can be found in the Sega Saturn version's official game guide.

Appearance[]

Toreko's appearance consists of a black, full bodysuit with light blue markings going down the sides of her arms and body. She also wears dark grey boots and a black helmet with a red visor.

Etymology[]

The name "Toreko" is the combination of the word "training" (トレーニン torēnin) and "ko" (子), the kanji for "child".

In the West, it was believed for many years that the training dummy was Ayane due to her having Toreko's bodysuit as a recurring costume in later games, starting off in the PlayStation remake of Dead or Alive.
