Time Attack Mode is a gameplay mode found in all Dead or Alive games.
The player chooses a character and fights through a series of eight single matches against eight seperate opponents, with the goal being to defeat each opponent as quickly as possible.
After the eighth opponent is defeated, the Time Attack match is over and the Result Screen will showcase the time is took for the player to defeat all eight opponents. If the player's obtained time is amongst the Top Ten, they are given the choice to enter their time on the leader board.
Since Dead or Alive 3, the player can choose whether to fight through eight one-versus-one matches or five tag-battle matches; where in tag-battle the player may choose a partner to support them as they battle through five similarly-paired opponents with the same goal to defeat each pair as quickly as possible.
- Time Attack Mode is only played using the default difficulty settings.
