Takeshi Aono was a Japanese actor and voice actor.
Some of Aono's major roles included Doctor Wily in the Mega Man series, Roy Campbell in the Metal Gear series, and King Piccolo in Dragon Ball Z.
Roles in the series[edit | edit source]
In the Dead or Alive series, Aono was the original Japanese voice actor for Gen Fu until 2011, when he was, for unknown reasons, replaced by Chikao Ohtsuka.
In Dead or Alive 4 and the Ninja Gaiden series, he also played the role of Muramasa. In 2012, he was, for unknown reasons, replaced by Bin Shimada.
