Who knows what the future holds for us? This article contains information about a game that's still to be released. As such, some of the information might be inaccurate or likely to change. |

The Construction Site is a fighting arena that first appeared in the debut trailer of Dead or Alive 5. As the trailer showed the game in its pre-alpha state, its possible that the stage will be changed before the final version of the game is released, or be cut from the game entirely.
Description
The Construction Site is a two-tiered stage which starts out on an incomplete skyscraper in the middle of a modern city. In the trailer, the fight between Hayate and Ryu Hayabusa takes place during the night at the very top of the building.
Around the edges of the site, there are various pieces of equipment, the most noticeable being uncovered electric generators, which give off sparks. There are orange traffic cones around the arena, and a crane holding onto steel beams. The whole area is lit up with temporary lighting.
During the trailer, Ryu is thrown against one of the generators, which causes it to short out and jumpstart the crane. As no one is controlling the crane, the lift holding the beams destroy the tops of the concrete supports, causing a lot of chaos around the fighters, before breaking off the chains and falling down the side of the building.
Midway through the trailer, Hayate knocks Ryu over the side of the building and Ryu manages to grab onto the ledge. After Hayate performs a Power Blow, the fight moves to the street below the building, which is now destroyed, and full of crashed cars, fire and torn-up road, with the former two acting as new Danger Zones.
