Prototype is a robot made in Raidou's likeness. As implied by the name, this acted as the prototype stage to Raidou's eventual revival.
Story[edit | edit source]
Dead or Alive 6[edit | edit source]
During the sixth tournament, NiCO, as part of her experiment to revive the dead, built a robotic duplicate of the person she was trying to revive, the infamous ninja exile Raidou. At Lost Paradise, NiCO activated it the first time and had it fight her so she could test its battle program, with Christie watching after NiCO explained to her what it was. NiCO ultimately defeated it easily enough that she insisted that they strengthen it to truly make it worthy of being called a prototype, also informing Christie when the latter questioned her motives of her plans of reviving Raidou.
Presumably after doing so, it was then placed under Rig, or rather, his brainwashed self Victor Donovan Jr.'s control, and used it to hold off Hayate while he himself escaped (with Hayate unable to stop him due to a restraining brace left over from Project Epsilon). The prototype was ultimately defeated, albeit with a bit of difficulty.
After presumably being retrieved from its earlier encounter with Hayate, the prototype was then launched via missile by Christie aboard a helicopter to fend off Ryu Hayabusa and Kasumi at Road Rage, although the former personally fought and defeated it, finishing it off by cleaving it in half from head to toe.
Character[edit | edit source]
Appearance[edit | edit source]
The prototype, owing to its connection in the plan to revive Raidou, was modeled physically after the deceased ninja. However, his eyes glowed a mechanical red, and it had a more tan tone to its mechanical body in contrast to its basis' more gray tone.
