PlayStation with analog controller

The PlayStation (known early in development as the PlayStation EXperimental) was Sony's first video-game console. It was launched in 1994, and the system was widely popular and quickly became the best selling home console to date, only to be passed by its successor, the PlayStation 2.

Dead or Alive titles on PlayStationEdit


  • The commands in the PlayStation Dead or Alive were colored to match the controller's face buttons: PlayStationSquare.svg, PlayStationTriangle.svg and PlayStationCircle.svg becoming Pink Hold Button, Green Punch Button and Kick Button.
