Momiji's costumes are unlocked in the order listed, regardless of the difficulty and mode played. For the tag team option, both characters will unlock a costume, and all of the costumes can be unlocked even from courses that were already cleared.

==PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions==
For the updated versions of ''[[Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate]]'', Momiji has 5 costumes at the start of the game, with 2 being available from the start, and the remaining 3 costumes being unlocked through either Arcade Mode, Time Attack Mode, or Survival Mode.

With the release of the [[Dead or Alive 5 Last Round/Downloadable Content|downloadable costumes]], Momiji was given 30 different DLC costumes, adding her total up to 35 costumes.
