Kyoto in Bloom is a fighting arena from Dead or Alive 4, which reappears in Dead or Alive: Dimensions. This area is or is possibly near where Kokoro lives. In Dead or Alive 4, the stage can either be fought in daylight or during the night.
Description
The stage is roughly based on the real-life city of Kyoto, with traditional Japanese architecture on one side of a bridge, and a fenced-off grass area designed for outdoor picnics on the other. The bridge goes over a swallow, man-made stream, which acts as a drop point. As the name suggests, the cherry-trees around the stage are in bloom, so there is a neverending shower of petals falling onto the ground.
There are many different starting points for this stage: you might start fighting on the bridge, the picnic area, or near the buildings. Throughout the whole stage, you can throw your opponent over the fences and the tables to give them minimum damage.
Stage Usages
Dead or Alive 4
In the opening of Dead or Alive 4, Kokoro was shown praticing her moves here in her Geisha outfit. The stage was also shown in Kokoro's story mode where she fights Brad Wong, and later in Kokoro's story ending.
Dead or Alive: Dimensions
Kyoto in Bloom will be reused in Dead or Alive: Dimensions, with some slight changes such as a larger bridge and no falling petals.
