This article is for the musical theme "Jintsuriki" and its subsequent update and remix.
Throughout the Dead or Alive series, "Jintsuriki" has been used as a theme for Bankotsubo (aka Tengu).
Arcade version
The original "Jintsuriki" theme first appeared in the original arcade version of Dead or Alive 2 as the theme for Tengu, and also Ayane's ending.
Console version
"Jintsuriki" was later updated for the home console releases of Dead or Alive 2. Appearing in also the DOA2: Hardcore games, Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate, and Dead or Alive Online, the theme was once again used as the theme for Tengu and Ayane's ending.
It is this version of the theme that has been used again throughout the series rather than the original arcade version.
Trivia
- 神通力 (jintsūriki) literally means either "supernatural [an occult] power", "divine power", or "magical power".
