The following is a list of downloadable content for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. They can either be bought with Premium Tickets or via Zack Dollars. It is also the first time in the Dead or Alive Xtreme series to include DLC. Although they are mostly going to be various swimsuits, an interview in the March 2016 edition of Dengeki PlayStation implied that the DLC may include various activities and also the characters who didn't make the final cut in the earlier voting process.[1]

Marie's sailor suit[]

Released to players who bought the April 7, 2016 issue of Famitsu via download passcode. Has recently been released to PS+ users in both Japan and Asia.[2]

Wave 1[]

Released on April 14-27, 2016, these require the use of Premium Tickets. There will be 9 variants of each swimsuit.[3] They will be released on a later date.[4]

Wave 2[]

Released on April 28-May 11, 2016, these require the use of Zack Dollars. There will be 9 variants of each swimsuit.[5] Although the Eel portion was initially going to require Premium Tickets to purchase, it was changed to Regular Edition upon release. Like the April 14-27 DLC, this DLC set will be released on a later date.[6] They will return on June 9-June 22.[7]

Wave 3[]

Released on May 12-26, 2016. There will be nine variants of each swimsuit.[8] Like the prior DLC, this DLC set will be rereleased on a later date.[9] They will return on June 23-July 7.[7]

Wave 4[]

Released on May 26-June 8, 2016. There will be nine variants of each swimsuit.[10] Like the prior DLC, this DLC set will be rereleased on a later date.[11] It was later rereleased between July 7 and July 20.

Honoka's diver outfit[]

Released May 31, 2016. The winning design from the Taiwan Swimsuit Design Contest (Honoka version). Later released on September 7 for Japanese PS+ users.

Kokoro's winning entry[]

Released June 2, 2016.

Wave 5[]

Will be released on June 16-29, 2016. There will be nine variants of each swimsuit. Like the prior DLC, this DLC set will be rereleased on a later date. Can only be used at Owner Level 100. It was later rereleased for July 21-August 3.

Wave 6[]

Will be released on June 30-July 13, 2016. There will be nine variants of each swimsuit. Like the prior DLC, this DLC set will be rereleased on a later date. Can only be used at Owner Level 100.

Skin Care items[]

Skin Care items that will be released during July 2016. There are three in total. Each one will affect a specific physical body part. Can only be used at Owner Level 110. Depending on the version, the parts that are customized are either breasts only (Venus) or both breasts and butt (Fortune). Unlike the special swimwear DLC sets, this is available any time.

Dead or Alive Festival 2016 Visitor's Award outfits[]

Presented to those who attended the 2016 Dead or Alive Festival in commemoration for the 20th anniversary of the Dead or Alive franchise.[12]

Released July 14-27, 2016. It has nine variants each. This was also the first pack to be released via catalogues in at least the Asian versions instead of via updates.

Angel and Imp outfits[]

Released around the same time as the Wave 7 DLC for both the PS Vita and the PS4, this included Honoka's angel swimwear and Marie Rose's Imp swimwear that originally acted as preorders.
