BGM[edit | edit source]

Background music packs from Dead or Alive 2 and Dead or Alive 3 may be purchased for $0.99 each. This only applies to the Core Fighters release, as BGM can already be unlocked in the full version.

Characters[edit | edit source]

The Core Fighters release includes four characters on the PlayStation 4 version (Ayane, Hayabusa, Hayate and Kasumi) and an additional four in the Xbox One version (Bass, Hitomi, Jann Lee and Tina). The rest may be purchased individually for $3.99 each, or as one of seven bundles in the "Core Fighters All Character Set". The full version of the game has all characters available from the start.

Depending on the bundle, the cost for the character sets will be, $50.99 (30-Character set), $48.49 (26-Character Set), $37.49 (Female Fighters Set), $27.49 (Male Fighters Set), $14.49 (New Fighters Set), $39.99 (New Fighters + Debut Costumes Set), and $9.99 (Honoka + Debut Costumes Set).

Between June 23, 2015 and July 14, 2015, a free download of Rig was made available to celebrate over 3.5 million downloads.[1]

Between August 25, 2015 and September 15, 2015, a free download of Leifang was made available to celebrate over 4 million downloads.[2]

On July 5, 2015 through July 25, 2015, a free download of Momiji was made available to PlayStation Plus members as a reward for giving great reception to Core Fighters.[3]

Also similar to the Senran Kagura DLC, the clothing destruction elements are only available on the PS4 and Xbox One versions, and cannot be accessed if the breast movement options are set to off or natural.

Marie Rose Red Bull 5G Costume: R[edit | edit source]

This costume was released via code to people who attend the DOA Festival in August 2015[4][5] as part of a promotion for the Austrian energy drink production company Red Bull.[6] It eventually had a limited standard release for four weeks starting on December 15, 2015 with no cost,[7] while it had been revealed on the Facebook page that it will eventually get an overseas release[8].

DOA Hot Summer Themes[edit | edit source]

Contents: 15 themes containing all the girls (except for Phase 4). The themes can only be bought individually. This is meant to act as a means for voting for who will be included in the nine-character cast for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3.

Season Pass 2[edit | edit source]

Contents: 98 costumes in 5 DLC packs. The Honoka "Secret Agent" is exclusive to the Season Pass, with the rest available for purchase individually or in packs.[9][10]

Halloween Costume 2015 Set[edit | edit source]

Contents: 34 costumes designed by fans as part of the Designer's Challenge 2015 contest.[11] Three winners were announced at DOAFestival 2015, while four were announced at TGS 2015. The PS3, PS4, and Xbox One sets were released all together, while the Xbox 360 had them split into two sets, one being called the L set, and the other being the R set. Some characters' costumes are based on the characters from Fairy Tales, particularly based on the Disney versions. It is the final DLC set for the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems due to hitting the limit the systems can handle.[12]

Contents: 16 costumes. Starting with this DLC set, all future DLC for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round are exclusive to the PS4 and Xbox One systems. It also marks the debut of costumes that transform(T) via pressing the taunt button, doing the Power Blow or Power Launcher. Note that the transformations are exclusive to the PS4 and Xbox One versions. For the Steam Version, only the Ultimate forms are accessible, as the school uniforms are inaccessible.

Marie Rose Red Bull 5G Costume: B[edit | edit source]

Released: December 15, 2015

Contents: One costume released via PlayStation Plus on the PlayStation Store for free and for four weeks in Japan.[13] The Facebook page later revealed that an overseas release is planned.[14], with it later being confirmed and that it will be available between December 15, 2015 and January 12, 2016.[15][16] Like the Marie Rose Red Bull 5G Costume: R version, it is presumably a promotion for the Austrian energy drink production company Red Bull.[17] It was also meant to both celebrate the Red Bull 5G Tournament for Dead or Alive that was held on December 20, 2015 in Japan, as well as to reward fans for ensuring Dead or Alive 5 Last Round was a success. Requirements for getting the costume include getting the latest update for the game and, in the case of the Xbox One versions, purchasing Marie Rose beforehand[15][16]. It is not part of the Season 3 Pass.

Outcast Armor by Tamiki Wakaki Set[edit | edit source]

Was given a limited release for January 12, 2016 - February 16, 2016 free of charge in commemoration of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round Core Fighters receiving 5,000,000 downloads. It features additional, bonus costumes designed by Tamiki Wakaki for Kasumi and Ayane. They are not part of the Season 3 Pass.

Contents: 101 costumes in 6 DLC packs (two of which are the new character herself and the five costumes in her debut set). The Ayane Ninja "Miyama Ageha" costume (which is a redesign of her trademark kimono) is exclusive to this pack, while the rest of the costumes are available for purchase individually or in packs. The Ayane bonus costume will be delisted June 20th. Once the four said packs are removed in the said date, the rest of the Season 4 costumes will be sold individually.[22]

Dead or Alive Festival 2016 Visitor's Award outfits[edit | edit source]

Presented to those who attended the 2016 Dead or Alive Festival in commemoration for the 20th anniversary of the Dead or Alive franchise.[25] Does not require a download of the related costume catalogue to access on the costume selection screen for either character, due to it being pre-added to the game.

Season 5 Pass[edit | edit source]

Released: August 9, 2016

Contains: 96 costumes in 6 DLC packs (not counting the bonus costume) and one new character. Comes with a bonus for Nyotengu in a teacher's outfit. Nyotengu’s bonus costume and any KOF-related downloadable contents will be removed on September 11, 2019, thus many Season 5 Pass DLC won’t be part of the pass.

Contains: 16 costumes featuring the heroines from AquaPlus works like Sung One, To Heart, and White Album with decision input from AquaPlus.[27] Each costume features destruction elements(D).

Contains: 101 costumes in 6(?) DLC packs. Includes two bonus costumes for Marie Rose and Honoka in Idol costumes. A special bundle will include two theme wallpapers depicting costumes for both Marie Rose and Honoka in Idol costumes.[33]
