This article is for the musical theme "DEAD OR ALIVE" (or "Dead or Alive") and its subsequent update and remixes.
Throughout the Dead or Alive series, "DEAD OR ALIVE" has been used as a theme for Raidou.
Arcade version[]
The original "DEAD OR ALIVE" theme, composed by Hideyuki Suzuki, first appeared in the original arcade version of Dead or Alive as the final boss theme for Raidou.
Console version[]
"DEAD OR ALIVE" (or "Dead or Alive" in the PlayStation remake) was later updated by Makoto Hosoi for the Sega Saturn version of Dead or Alive.
Since the Sega Saturn version, this version of the theme has been used again rather than the original arcade version.
The theme was used in both the Sega Saturn version of Dead or Alive and its Xbox-port Dead or Alive 1 Ultimate, as the final boss theme for Raidou in the Arcade Mode, and the theme for Raidou's stage in the Survival Mode.
It later appeared in Dead or Alive Dimensions as the theme for Raidou. The theme is also optional in the Music Mode in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, though it can be selectable for any character and gameplay mode.
Dead or Alive++ remix[]
- The following article is based on a subject that has not been officially named; the current title is merely a placeholder.
The theme was later given an unnamed remix that appeared in Dead or Alive++, and it was used as the theme for Raidou in Tag Match Mode only.
Dead or Alive Reboot[]
The theme was once again remixed for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round as "Dead or Alive Reboot", and was used as the default theme for Raidou. The theme is also optional in the Music Mode, though it can be selectable for any character and gameplay mode.
Dead or Alive Redux[]
The theme also received a second remix for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, as "Dead or Alive Redux", and is optional in the Music Mode, though it can be selectable for any character and gameplay mode.
