The Burai Zenin is a stage that first appeared in the original Dead or Alive as Gen Fu's stage.
Story[]
In the original version of the first Dead or Alive, the then unnamed stage was used for Gen Fu when the player fought against him in arcade mode.
In Gen Fu's story for Dead or Alive 2 and Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate, Leon approaches him and challenges him to fight.
Description[]
Burai Zenin features traditional Chinese architecture and a wide-open courtyard. In Dead or Alive 2, the stage was set on a cloudy day. Dead or Alive Ultimate's rendition changed the weather dramatically; Burai Zenin was in the midst of a raging storm with lighting and rain. Additionally, individual paving tiles could be smashed from opponents' heavy landings. The stage is large enough that fights could not approach any walls or barriers if characters are mobile enough.
