Ayane/Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate costumes

The following are the costumes available to Ayane in the 2013 title, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate.

At the start of the game, Ayane has eleven different costumes, with two being available from the start, and the remaining nine costumes being unlocked through either Arcade Mode, Time Attack Mode, or Survival Mode.

Ayane's costumes are unlocked in the order listed, regardless of the difficulty and mode played. For the tag team option, both characters will unlock a costume, and all of the costumes can be unlocked even from courses that were already cleared.

With the release of the downloadable costumes, Ayane was given twenty-five different DLC costumes, adding her total up to thirty-six costumes.

NOTE: Due to the Dead or Alive 5 Last Round update, this costume list is now obsolete.

	Costume 2 - "Raging God - Nine of Violet": Dark purple shinobi shōzoku with a butterfly print on her left breast and a print of pink chrysanthemums on her back, a fishnet shirt with a black collar worn underneath, an indigo sash tied around her waist, light grey arm-guards with black detail, and black-heeled tabi boots with light grey, flower-patterned shin-guards. She also has a metal mask tied around her wrist with yellow rope, and one of her kunai kept in a scabbard on her back. (Originally her first costume from Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate.) 	Costume 3 - Sleeveless, dark purple mini-dress with a dark orange hem and a pink butterfly printed on the skirt. She also wears matching detached sleeves, thigh-high socks, ankle boots, and a long orange obi sash tied around her waist in a bow. (Originally her first costume from the PlayStation remake of the first Dead or Alive.) 	Costume 4 - Deep brown zip-up hoodie with a red trim and black sleeves, a white sleeveless dress with a small, purple and red butterfly on the bottom, white trapper hat with two tassels, and dark red sneakers. She also wears a silver pendant necklace in the shape of a butterfly. 	Costume 5 - Sleeveless, white mini-dress with a light purple hem and a butterfly printed on the skirt. She also wears matching detached sleeves, pale purple thigh-high socks, white ankle boots, and a long light-orange obi sash tied around her waist in a bow. (Originally her alternate second costume from Dead or Alive 3.) 	Costume 7 - Black full bodysuit with light blue sides and light green detail. She also wears black ankle boots and a silver metal helmet which covers her whole face. (This costume originally belonged to the training dummy, Toreko, from the Sega Saturn version of Dead or Alive.) 	Costume 10 - Kasumi's Rabbit bandeaukini from Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. The costume is a white faux fur, bandeau top bikini with a rabbit tail on the bikini bottom, and a pair of matching rabbit ears. She also wears high-heeled sandals with white straps. 	Costume 11 - Black faux fur, bandeau top bikini with a rabbit tail on the bikini bottom, and a pair of matching rabbit ears. She also wears high-heeled sandals with black straps. (This costume is a color swap of Kasumi's Rabbit bandeaukini from Dead or Alive Xtreme 2.) 	Costume 14 - Japanese school gym uniform which consists of a white t-shirt with a navy blue trim and the hiragana for "Ayane" (あやね) written across her chest, navy blue athletic bloomers, white socks, and white sneakers. 	Costume 16 - Ayane's Ariel tankini from Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. The costume is a dark purple to light blue, halter top tankini and a dark blue bikini bottom with a light blue trim and the text "Burning Beach" written across it. She also wears high-heeled sandals with white straps. 	Costume 17 - Dressed as Santa Claus. The costume consists of a dark red, sleeveless dress with a white fur trim, white pom-poms going down the front of the dress, and a black belt around the waist. She also wears dark red arm-guards with a white fur trim, a fur choker with a small bell, red-and-white striped, thigh-high socks, and dark red high heels. 	Costume 18 - Dark purple and white cheerleading uniform with the text "I'm a Fighter" written across her chest. • When the player inputs the glasses option, Ayane wears red-framed glasses.
• In Story Mode, Ayane wears her first and fourth costumes.
• The names of Ayane's costumes originally appeared in the late 2012 title, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, and the 2013 title Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus.
• Costume 34 was designed by a fan for a costume design contest, set up by Team Ninja.
