The following are the costumes available to Ayane in the 2013 title, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate.

At the start of the game, Ayane has eleven different costumes, with two being available from the start, and the remaining nine costumes being unlocked through either Arcade Mode, Time Attack Mode, or Survival Mode.

Ayane's costumes are unlocked in the order listed, regardless of the difficulty and mode played. For the tag team option, both characters will unlock a costume, and all of the costumes can be unlocked even from courses that were already cleared.

With the release of the downloadable costumes, Ayane was given twenty-five different DLC costumes, adding her total up to thirty-six costumes.

NOTE: Due to the Dead or Alive 5 Last Round update, this costume list is now obsolete.

	Costume 2 - Raging God - Nine of Violet. The costume is a purple-and-black shinobi shōzoku with a fishnet vest, arm-guards, tabi-style boots with flower pattern shinguards, and a metal mask tied around her waist with rope. She also has a kunai, which is kept in a scabbard and secured to the back of her waist. (Originally her first costume from Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate.) 	Costume 3 - Purple minidress with an orange hemline and butterfly on the skirt, matching sleeves, an orange obi tied into a bow, thigh-high socks, and ankle boots. 	Costume 7 - Black-and-blue full bodysuit with ankle boots and a metal visor which covers her whole face. (The costume originally belonged to the training dummy, Toreko, from the Sega Saturn version of Dead or Alive.) 	Costume 8 - Infiltrator. The costume is a leather leotard with a purple bra that has fishnet, leather boots, and a pair of gloves. She also has the Fuma Kodachi which are secured to cuisses. 	Costume 9 - Blossom of Miyama. The costume is a full bodysuit with a white breastplate and chain mail, tabi-style boots, a black hood, and a set of armor. She also has the Fuma Kodachi, which are secured to her legs. (Originally her costume from the Xbox remake of Ninja Gaiden.) 	Costume 10 - Kasumi's Rabbit bandeaukini from Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. The costume is a white faux fur, bandeau top bikini with a rabbit tail on the bikini bottom, and a pair of matching rabbit ears. She also wears a pair of heeled sandals. 	Costume 17 - Dressed as Santa's helper. The costume consists of a red minidress with white fur, matching gloves, red-and-white striped socks, high heeled Mary Janes, and a fur choker with a small bell. 	Costume 25 - Dressed as a fairy. • In Story Mode, Ayane wears her first and fourth costumes.
• The names of Ayane's costumes originally appeared in the 2009 title Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, the late 2012 title Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, and the 2013 title Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus.
  • Costume 31 was a reference to Ayane's opening in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge.
