999 Meters is a stage which first appeared in Dead or Alive 4 as the Tritower Heliport.
Story
The stage is used in Ayane's and Hayate's story modes, where they have their last battle fighting Alpha-152 up here unlike in the BioLab Core where Alpha-152 resides. Hayate also combats La Mariposa here as she teases and taunts him revealing about his past. The stage is also seen in Eliot's and Christie's story modes where they interact, in Kokoro's final stage where she meets Helena Douglas, and is also Helena's seventh stage where she fights La Mariposa. Bayman and Zack meet here during their seventh stage as well.
Description
The stage is an open air arena of a decagon based shape. It has electrolyzed ropes bordering it, like in the D&W Colosseum. It is supported in the middle level of the triple towers. There are three helipads from the three building points, with one seen hovering about when a battle is underway.
The stage is a "glitchy" type; as heavy winds blow throughout the arena, long hair and costumes have problems interacting with characters and their environment.

Trivia
- In the original story treatment for Dead or Alive 5 by Itagaki, Tritower was initially meant to merely be the headquarters for the DOATEC-USA branch, and that Miyako deliberately allowed DOATEC-USA to fall to the Mugen Tenshin Ninja Clan in Dead or Alive 4 and would later have DOATEC-Asia take the clan down in turn. This was ultimately cut when the game changed hands.[1]
